POW/MIA Recognition – VFW Post 10385

At VFW Post 10385, we honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country and endured unimaginable sacrifices. Among them, those who were taken as prisoners of war (POWs) and those still missing in action (MIA). All POW/MIA hold a special place in our hearts.

We stand together in solidarity, recognizing the courage, strength, and resilience of our POWs. Furthermore, we continue to seek the return of our MIAs. Every day, we strive to honor not only their sacrifices but also their families and their memory.

Never Forget:

The POW/MIA flag flies proudly at our post to remind us that there are still American heroes missing and those who remain in captivity. The flag symbolizes our unwavering commitment to never forget those who are unaccounted for and to ensure they are always in our thoughts and prayers.

The POW/MIA Table:

At every VFW Post 10385 gathering, we set a special place at the table to honor the missing soldiers. The empty seat symbolizes those who have not yet returned from their service. This small, yet powerful, gesture allows us to never forget their sacrifice.

POW/MIA Resources:

At VFW post 10385 we support the families of POWs and MIAs. We offer resources, including information on efforts to locate and identify missing soldiers. We also provide a refuge for veterans needing support with their own POW experiences or those whose loved ones are still missing.
