VFW 10385 Auxiliary

VFW Post 10385 Auxiliary

The VFW Post 10385 Auxiliary is an essential part of our post, providing unwavering support to veterans, service members, and their families. The Auxiliary is made up of men and women who are dedicated to serving those who have sacrificed for our country. Through volunteerism, advocacy, and community service, our members work to ensure the well-being of veterans and continue to honor their legacy.

Our Mission

The mission of the VFW Auxiliary is to support the veterans and the work of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). We assist in fundraising efforts, promote veterans’ rights, and provide vital services to those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. In addition to our national programs, the VFW Auxiliary plays an important role in maintaining a sense of community and camaraderie among our veterans and their families.

We are driven by the core values of patriotism, loyalty, and service, and we believe in the importance of supporting both the veterans and their families. The Auxiliary provides a platform for members to contribute their time and skills to important causes while honoring the sacrifices made by those who have served.

Programs and Initiatives

The VFW Post 10385 Auxiliary runs a variety of programs that benefit veterans, their families, and the community. Some of our key initiatives include:

  • Buddy Poppy Program: We assist with the distribution of Buddy Poppies. Raising funds for veterans’ services, providing financial relief to veterans and their families.
  • Veterans’ Family Support: We offer support to the families of veterans. Helping them navigate the challenges that come with military service and supporting their needs during difficult times.
  • Community Outreach: We host community events, coordinate donations, and support volunteer work. This lets us help both veterans and the wider community. Together, we build a strong support network for everyone.
  • Youth Programs: We organize and support youth programs like the Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen essay contests. These programs encourage young people to reflect on democracy, freedom, and patriotism.
